A report commissioned by the Royal British Legion indicated that the biggest concern for its members related to financial worries. These issues included everything from managing their outgoings on low incomes, debt problems, and benefit entitlements.

As the result of the report, the Royal British Legion in conjunction with the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, have engaged the Citizen’s Advice Bureau to a scheme for ex Service personnel, which offers a free benefits and money advice Service.

For eligible clients, we are able to provide a complete casework service, help with debts, representation at court and access all the benefits to which you may be entitled, as well as other forms of financial support. The service is free and confidential and can be mostly provided by telephone and correspondence.
